Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by Fall 7 Rise 8 Ministry ("we," "us," or "the Ministry") to explain how information is handled on fallsevenriseeight.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We only collect information that you choose to give us:

• Contact form submissions: name, email address, phone number (optional), and the message you send us.
• Basic technical data: your browser, device type, approximate location, and pages viewed, collected through standard web logs and privacy-respecting analytics.

How we use it

• To reply to your message and continue the conversation you started.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
• To comply with the law when required.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

We use a small number of trusted vendors to run the Site and deliver your messages to us. These providers process your information on our behalf under their own privacy terms:

• Hosting and deployment infrastructure — serves the Site and processes standard web request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) needed to operate and secure it.
• Resend (privacy policy) — delivers an email notification to Ministry staff each time you submit the contact form. The email includes the name, email address, optional phone number, and message you entered. Your email address is also set as the reply-to address so we can respond directly. Resend processes this data solely to deliver the message and may temporarily retain sending metadata (recipient, subject, timestamp, delivery status) for deliverability and abuse-prevention purposes.
• Twilio (privacy policy) — optional SMS alert sent to a Ministry staff phone number when the contact form is submitted. When this integration is enabled, Twilio processes your name, email address, and the first ~240 characters of your message to deliver the SMS, plus standard messaging metadata (sender/recipient numbers, timestamps, delivery status). Twilio does not send any message to you as a result of submitting the contact form; SMS notifications go only to Ministry staff. This integration is off when Twilio credentials or the staff phone number are not configured.

We do not share your information with any provider not listed above, and none of these providers is authorized to use your data for their own marketing.

Cookies

The Site uses only essential cookies and local storage needed for the Site to function. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep contact submissions only as long as needed to respond to you and maintain a reasonable record of correspondence. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing mail@fallsevenriseeight.com.

Your choices

• You can request a copy of the information we hold about you.
• You can ask us to correct or delete it.
• You can opt out of further contact at any time.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information you submit. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal or financial information through the Site.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
