Deliverance FAQs

These answers explain how Free Indeed approaches prayer and spiritual care. They are educational and do not diagnose any person or situation.

What is deliverance?

Deliverance is prayerful Christian spiritual care centered on Jesus Christ. It may include repentance, forgiveness, rejecting lies or known sin, receiving biblical truth, and asking for wise pastoral support as part of ongoing discipleship.

Is every problem spiritual oppression?

No. Hardship, trauma, illness, addiction, mental-health symptoms, and relationship problems can involve many spiritual, physical, psychological, relational, and practical factors. We do not label every struggle as demonic or offer simplistic diagnoses.

Do Christians need to be afraid of demons?

No. Scripture calls believers to be watchful and to resist evil, but our confidence rests in Jesus rather than fear. We do not pursue sensational experiences or give darkness more attention than Christ.

Is deliverance a replacement for counseling or medical care?

No. Prayer and biblical support can work alongside licensed counseling, medical care, recovery programs, and emergency services. Never stop treatment or medication without consulting a qualified professional.

What happens when I request prayer?

The existing prayer page lets you share what you are walking through and choose whether to send it to the ministry team. Begin your request with “Deliverance / Freedom Prayer” so the team understands the kind of support you are seeking. A request does not guarantee a meeting or a particular outcome.

What should I do afterward?

Continue with Scripture, prayer, worship, healthy church community, accountability, wise boundaries, and professional care where appropriate. If struggle returns, seek help without shame and keep turning toward Jesus.
