Deliverance Ministry FAQ — Free Indeed

Question 1

What is deliverance ministry?

Accepted Answer

Deliverance ministry is prayer and biblical spiritual support for people seeking freedom in Christ. We follow the example of Jesus, who came to proclaim liberty to the captives (Luke 4:18). It is centered on the person of Jesus — not on formulas, rituals, or sensational experiences.

Question 2

Who is deliverance for?

Accepted Answer

Anyone who desires prayer and wants to walk in greater freedom in Christ is welcome. You do not need to have everything figured out, and you do not need to be certain about the cause of what you are facing. We will simply pray with you and seek the Lord together.

Question 3

Does asking for prayer mean something is wrong with me?

Accepted Answer

No. Asking for prayer is a normal, healthy part of the Christian life. Scripture encourages believers to pray for one another (James 5:16). Seeking help is a step of courage and faith, not an admission of failure.

Question 4

Is every hardship caused by something demonic?

Accepted Answer

No. We do not believe every difficulty in life has a demonic cause, and we will never diagnose you from a form or a single conversation. Many struggles are part of ordinary human life, grief, health, or circumstances. Our role is to pray with you and point you to Jesus, whatever the cause.

Question 5

What happens in a private session?

Accepted Answer

A private session is a calm, unhurried time of conversation and prayer with members of our ministry team. We listen to your story, read Scripture, and pray together. There is no shouting, no pressure, and nothing theatrical. You are free to pause or stop at any time.

Question 6

Is deliverance a substitute for medical or mental-health care?

Accepted Answer

No. What we offer is prayer and biblical spiritual support. It is not medical care, therapy, or licensed mental-health treatment, and we encourage you to continue working with your doctors and counselors. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the U.S., you can call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Question 7

Is what I share kept private?

Accepted Answer

We treat what you share as private and confidential and limit access to the ministry team handling your request. We do not use your information for marketing. Please know that no online communication can be guaranteed absolutely secure, and information may need to be disclosed when required by law or to address an imminent safety concern.

Question 8

Do I need to fill out the full intake form?

Accepted Answer

No. We offer a short intake that takes only a few minutes, and a fuller guided intake for those who want more space to share their story. Both require only an email and a phone number — everything else is optional, and you may share only what you are comfortable sharing.

Question 9

What happens after I submit a request?

Accepted Answer

You will see a confirmation that your request was received. A member of the ministry team will review it and contact you to discuss next steps and schedule a time to talk. Submitting the form is a request, not a confirmed appointment.

Question 10

Does it cost anything?

Accepted Answer

No. Prayer and ministry sessions are offered freely. “Freely you have received; freely give” (Matthew 10:8).

Question 11

Can I request prayer for someone else?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You may request prayer on behalf of a family member or friend. For a private session, we will want to speak with the person directly whenever possible, since ministry is most fruitful when someone participates willingly.

Question 12

What if I'm not sure I'm ready?

Accepted Answer

That is completely fine. You can start by reading our resources, sending a general prayer request, or simply contacting us with your questions. There is no pressure and no deadline — take whatever time you need.

Question 13

Do Christians need to be afraid of demons?

Accepted Answer

No. Scripture calls believers to be watchful and to resist evil, but our confidence rests in Jesus rather than fear. We do not pursue sensational experiences or give darkness more attention than Christ.

Question 14

What should I do afterward?

Accepted Answer

Continue with Scripture, prayer, worship, healthy church community, accountability, wise boundaries, and professional care where appropriate. If struggle returns, seek help without shame and keep turning toward Jesus.
